12-month factory warranty.
Every BBX comes with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase, up to a maximum of 1,000 km or 150 hours of use — whichever comes first. The kilometres and hours of use can be read on the bike's display.
The condition is that the bike has been used normally and maintained according to the manual. Damage caused by neglected maintenance is not covered by the warranty.
What the warranty doesn't cover
- Wear parts such as tyres, brake pads, chain, sprockets and cables (available separately from our webshop, usually delivered within 24 hours)
- Water damage to the battery, display or charger (use protective covers and store the bike under cover)
- Damage caused by incorrect charging of the battery
- Damage from falls and impacts
- Damage caused by modifications or improper use
Make a warranty claim
Email info@bbxtreme.nl with:
- A clear description of the fault
- A photo of the faulty part
- Your proof of purchase (and the kilometres/hours shown on the display)
We'll assess your claim as quickly as possible and get in touch about the solution (repair, replacement or part). Even outside the warranty, we're happy to help with parts and repair advice. Reach us by phone on +31 77 2340 456.

How to handle the battery.
Model: BBX-BAT-16 (5 Ah), BBX-BAT-20 (10 Ah) and BBX-BAT-24 (10 Ah).
- Only use a dry powder or CO2 extinguisher in case of fire. Never use water, foam or halon.
- Never dismantle, crush, set on fire or expose to extreme heat.
- Store and charge between 0 °C and 40 °C. Never charge unattended.
Extinguishing a lithium-ion fire
Only use an approved class D dry powder extinguisher or a CO2 extinguisher. Then let the battery cool down and remove it safely. Call the fire brigade immediately.
Charging
- Only use the original BBX charger, 42V / 2A or 3A.
- Charge in a dry, well-ventilated space between 18 °C and 40 °C.
- Never charge unattended overnight or in a bedroom.

Storage & transport
Store the battery at 30–50% charge in a cool, dry place. Remove the battery from the bike for long-term storage or transport.
Disposal & recycling
Lithium-ion batteries don't belong in household waste. Take them to an approved collection point or return them to BBX B.V.

What's in the box?
Your BBX, the battery, the charger and the tools. The bike is almost fully assembled: you fit the handlebar and adjust the saddle yourself, in about half an hour. If you collect in Meijel or from a dealer, it comes fully assembled.
How long does charging take?
Only use the original BBX charger (42V / 2A). Charge in a dry, ventilated space and never unattended.
Can my child ride on public roads?
No. All BBX models are intended for private land, the garden and the track — not for public roads.
Can I limit the speed?
Yes. Every BBX has 3 speed modes that you select with the button on the handlebar. Mode 1 is always walking pace.
How do I report damage on arrival?
Check your order as soon as it arrives and report any damage or missing parts within 24 hours via info@bbxtreme.nl with your order number and a photo. We'll sort it out, at our expense.
What if I've chosen the wrong size?
Within 30 days, unused and complete in the original box, you can exchange or return it. Get in touch first and we'll guide you through the return.
How do I read the kilometres and hours?
On the bike's display. We need that reading for a warranty claim (max. 1,000 km or 150 hours).
